Year 3/4 - Mrs Ramsell and Mrs Cummins

Year 3/4 - Lent Term 1

Fun Fact of the Day: Water makes different pouring sounds depending on its temperature!

If you would like to share a fun fact with our class, send it through to the class email and we will feature one here each day!

Wednesday 20th January 2021

Good Morning Year 3/4!

We've reached Wednesday again, my last day with you this week.  Mrs Cummins will be setting your lessons Thursday and Friday this week as normal.  You've continued to impress me this week with our fantastic turnout on Zoom and all of the incredible  work you've been sending through!

For some reason it won't allow me to update the Fact of the Day at the top of the page so here it is: It is illegal to stand within 90 metres of the Queen without socks on!

The links for today's lessons are below the timetable and all previous lessons from this week can be found lower down the page.

At 1pm this afternoon on Zoom we will do the input for our 2nd RE lesson for this week so please make sure you have a paper and pen ready.

Please also complete a PE activity as per the timetable.  You can find some links below if you'd like to complete one of those activities or you can choose to do another type of exercise.

Remember, Mr Gowan has also put together a daily fitness routine for you to do at home which can be found here.

Please also check out our PE page-scroll to the very bottom to find some challenges to complete (You may especially enjoy our Boccia challenge- don't forget to email me with your best scores)

 https://stthomasmorecatholic.sites.schooljotter2.com/curriculum/physical-education

Other PE activities:

On Monday's, Wednesday's and Fridays you could choose to complete PE with Joe Wicks which can be found at:  https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1

and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Briars' team are keeping us physically and spiritually fit as we join them on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCcrhPNDMtY

Also, if you would like to video yourself saying our school's morning prayer or a lunchtime prayer, and send it to our class email, then I would love to upload these to our webpage for the rest of the class to join in with each day. Thanks in advance.

See you all at 9.15 for our Maths activity (you will need a paper and pencil!)

God bless,

Mrs Ramsell
